Why Choose Advocacy?
Change for the better will NOT happen without advocacy. It is a South African’s democratic right to speak up about the improvements they wish to see in their health care system. Many patients around the world have seen major changes in laws, services and attitude toward them. Advocacy did this!
The women lib movement is a prime example of how advocacy can change a situation for a group of people. In fact, our new South Africa is the child of a past rich in political advocacy.
Cancer Advocacy is about cancer patient deciding for themselves it is time for change.
