Sponsorships

Campaigning for Cancer encourages sponsorship and partnership agreements that increase the level of cancer control services available to all South Africans, offer new resources that may not be offered otherwise, and support awareness of cancer control services.

A few GUIDELINES we will adhere to when entering into a sponsorship or partnership:

Our organisation defines sponsorships and partnerships as mutually beneficial exchanges whereby Campaigning for Cancer (C4C) receive funds, products or in-kind services from a sponsor or partner. The sponsor in turn benefits from community recognition and affiliation with cancer advocacy efforts throughout the country. In general, sponsorships and partnerships. Grants for which the C4C may apply to receive funding for a specific project(s) or gifts for which the giver requests a simple acknowledgement are not covered by these guidelines.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
We welcome alliances with organisations that can help us fulfil our missions and goals. We consider all types of alliances that can provide support, directly and indirectly, to our work.

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend any sponsorship opportunity that is judged to be unsuitable or inappropriate to the advancement of our missions.

Sponsors will agree to display C4C logos according to our logo standards. Neither the C4C name or logo may be used as part of any official endorsement of a sponsor’s product or company.

C4C will maintain complete control over its member database and mailing list.

SPONSORSHIP RECOGNITION
  • Sponsors will be provided with a level of recognition commensurate with their contribution. These levels will be clearly defined in writing within the sponsorship agreement. In all cases, the recognition required by the sponsor will be weighed against the benefit to C4C and their members. Recognition may include (but is not limited to) the following:
  • Sponsor’s logo on our websites
  • Recognition of the sponsor in an article in our online newsletters
  • Recognition of the sponsor in media releases
  • Recognition of the sponsor on promotional materials or printed materials related to programs
  • Opportunities to promote services to members. These opportunities must be agreed to ahead of time and included in the sponsorship agreement.
  • Recognition at C4C events.

We retain sole control of the content of our web sites and other promotional materials. If C4C agrees to display a sponsor’s name/logo in our promotional materials. Recognition will promote the sponsor’s corporate name and will not include reference to any specific product. Nor will C4C endorse any product or service of its corporate sponsors.
